Welcome to my digital atelier! This is a place where photography and interactive experiments merge into a journey of discovery.

Optimization:
The full experience with all animations and the discovery counter is optimized for large screens. Basic
navigation and display are, of course, also guaranteed on smartphones.

About Me

Early Passion and Development
From a young age, I discovered my love for photography with a 35mm camera. In 2004, I bought my first digital camera and began capturing my surroundings and city trips like Hamburg and Munich. With the acquisition of additional cameras and through numerous photo and cycling tours, I deepened my skills and continuously improved my technique.
Portrait Photography
Since my first portrait attempts in 2008, I have dedicated myself intensively to the diverse field of portrait photography. This includes classic portraits, expressive concert and band photos, emotional wedding and engagement pictures, as well as sensitive maternity photos. Additionally, I capture people in special moments, creating unique and memorable images.
Aerial Photography
Since 2022, I have been using my drone to create fascinating perspectives and aerial shots. This technology allows me to showcase buildings, landscapes, and special places from an entirely new viewpoint, expanding my creative vision.
Building and Property Photography
Architectural photography is one of my great passions. From modern designs to historical buildings, I capture the uniqueness of structures. I am especially fascinated by "lost places," which tell their own stories. Using Light Painting , reflections, and background effects, I present buildings from new perspectives.
Analog Photography
Returning to analog photography in 2014 was a significant step in my artistic development. With cameras like the Mamiya RZ67 Pro, the Altix V (for which I own all available lenses), and the wonderful Olympus OM1, I rediscovered the classical art of photography. I appreciate the special aesthetics and creative process that analog photography brings.
Special Photography
My special photography includes macro shots, timelapse, and various lighting techniques. From insect macros to atmospheric night and moon shots, I experiment with techniques to create unique images. Planet photography and creative work with geometric shapes and colors are also among my specialties.

Image Paths guide you through creative photographic journeys, experimental techniques, and special moments behind the camera. Each reportage not only highlights the subject but also the artistic and technical process behind it.
Bastei in Focus: Rock Formations in Perfect Light
In this photographic travel report, I take you to the impressive landscape of the Bastei. Alongside atmospheric shots of sunrises and sunsets as well as mystical fog images, the creative technique of light painting is also showcased – clearly explained and embedded in an authentic photographic journey.
Bergpark Wilhelmshöhe – Poetry of Water and Light
In this literary narrative, Bergpark Wilhelmshöhe unfolds like a vivid stage set. The work comprises three short stories that employ the Löwenburg, the Teufelsbrücke, and the Wasserspiele as central motifs, giving them a distinct literary form. Vivid photographs capture both the fluid motion of the water and the mysterious magic of nocturnal light painting.
Comprehensive Review of Altix Lenses
In this comprehensive review, I present all Altix lenses, analyze their optical properties, and test them with sample photos in practice. Each lens is evaluated not only technically but also for its practical value. An indispensable guide for anyone who appreciates or wants to get to know these wonderful optics.
